I'm a diecast collector and not much of a customizer, but I do have a fairly extensive diorama set-up. Figured I might enhance my skills, especially with scenery and detailing here. I do wheel swaps, minor modifications, decals, license plates, touch-ups etc, but I 've always been more into creating something to display all my rides in, rather than changing how they come out of the package into something else. I mainly focus on 1/64 scale, but also have some 1/43 and 1/87 vehicles and set-ups.
From what I've seen so far, my layouts can't compare with most of the work I've seen here, as far as detailing goes. All my stuff is modular and frequently modified as I go along.
As a cop, former vol. firefighter and truck driver in the USMCR, most of my stuff is Emergency and/or truck related, mixed in with classic cars, highway, beach, and rural scenes. I've got a lot of scale territory.
Anyway, I have a website to showcase my creations, with some ephasis on humor. It's strictly a hobby site, but there are NO ads, NO pop-ups and nothing for sale. You might enjoy such pages as:
