New guy here..well I'm old...not that old...anyway..
Well, not really new to modeling but new to the forum. I startd building over 30 years ago. I did a little bit of everything back then. I'm mainly a scifi guy but I have a strong interest in aircraft as well. Some of the more focused catogories I do are police cars, Star Wars, Star Trek, Martian War Machines from 1954, and Studio Scale models.
I am currently workig on a 1/144 War of the Worlds Martian War Machine diorama. It's a 10x14 base with a farm house, trees by me, small pond and lighting of the ship and house. I'm also working on the ROG C-17A Globemaster also in 1/144.
I attended my first Wonderfest this year and took along my Blue Leader X-Wing. While being a first timer there I wasn't expecting any medals but I did recieve a Merit award. Not too bad against 500+ entries!
I also collect movie prop replicas. My brass, copper and steel Freddy glove is one of my favorites as well as my walnut and brass Lament Configuration.
I'm on a lot of the other forums as well, HT, both SSM's, RI, AL, FX-Sabers, etc.
