Flood swallows models
Posted by totenkopf on Friday, October 9, 2009 8:24 PM
Its wonderful to see many modellers from all over, im from the Philippines and iv been building WWII german armour since the 90s mostly Dragon kits, but i guess i need to lay low after the floods last month comletely wrecked everything. The only kits i have are the unbuilt ones i kept on the second floor of my parents' house which are about less than 5 kits. What really hurts is that those that i built are now rare kits or way more expensive than when i bought them. I guess the lesson here is, you guys keep your models in safe places, would be better if u keep 'em in high ground, better yet, go find yourselves a bunker in normandy and keep 'em there. Happy modelling to everyone!

Im really sorry, but I cant help myself...

You know, if you had built scale models of ships they would have just floated on the flood water and been perfectly fine, except for some natural weathering :D

also, welcome

I have relatives in Mindanao, but I'm scared to visit them.

I'm from the government and I'm here to help.
