Hi from Minnesota
Posted by slingshot392 on Monday, November 16, 2009 2:53 PM

I've been lurking on this site for quite awhile and have finally joined.  I was one of the editors of Large Scale Planes for quite a while and for the first time in my life got burned out on airplanes a number of years ago and kind of stumbled around with modeling for a while.  I'm getting my interest back in airplanes and have expanded my modeling also to other areas I used to model as a kid and have always had interests in.  Space, both real and science fiction, some monster figures, maybe I'll try some other figures some time as well, and cars.  I like ships but really don't plan on modeling any except for one, the USRC Bear which my great uncle served on in Alaska in the mid-20s and I found some very detailed drawings in a model ship magazine from the mid-80s, sailing ships kind of spook me as they are so different from anything I've ever done.

My favorite warbird is th P-40 and I have a web site devoted to it:
