Daywalker- The Sd.Kfz.7/1 is OOB Dragon, I tried to make it look like the trucks I used to drive at work, as far as the dirt and weathering. I didn't know anything about those when I started building it, so I just copied a few things I read about online. All the dirt is pigment set with enamel thinner.
The Sherman is the M4A3E8 Thunderbolt VII kit from Dragon. It's mostly OOB, I only added DS tracks from an M51 Isherman and PE straps and tiedowns for the tools(which can't be seen in this pic). The whitewash is a combination of techniques I've read about over the years. It's 2 layers of white. THe first layer uses the hairspray technique used normally. The second layer is sprayed on more randomly, then rubbed on with a sponge, used sandpaper and a piece of cotton cloth. The rubbing gives it a nice, worn look.
The Panther D is just OOB, all basic techniques.
The forth pic is of a garage kit from a friend in Italy. It's called a Briegel. It's 1/35 scale and is about 12 inches tall. I used HEAVY rust washes and filters to get the look. The vulcans on the hips were scratch built by me.
The last pic is called a Wappa, it's from the Hardgraph line of Gundams. It's 1/35 scale, I painted it like a Japanese A6M5, or tried to atleast. Most of the chips are actual chips, I used varies tools and tapped or hit the pieces lightly to chip the paint. Just trying to see what would happen. Came out pretty nice.
