Hey all. I'm Mike and i'm new to the forums here. I'm an EMT-Intermediate here in Houston, Texas. I just started building models again after a very long hiatus. Just learning how to use a airbrush (as a kid I just hand painted them). I've been reading FineScale for a while and reading here on the forums. Lots of good info here. I'm currently working on Academy's Oliver Hazard Perry FFG-7. I've never done a ship before and it's going ok so far. I have a MV-22 Osprey waiting in the wings. I primarily do modern and WW2 aircraft and helicopters. Looking forward to really getting back into building models. Thanks.

Howdy & Welcome, I came back about 2 years ago after a 25 year or so "lull". In my mid teenage years I threw all the modeling toys out of the pram & gave a healthy stash away to lots of random folk.

Anyway, I hope you enjoy getting back into it, because I for one have. I often ask myself what I did with my spare time before returning - I supose that would be down to "good times" & way to much online Unreal Tournament & the likes.

Thanks for the warm welcomes. And yes I am enjoying being back to building models. And Unreal 3 and Battlefield 2 have kept me very busy....lol.
