Well, yes and no. It operates differently, thats certain. But the same content and admonishments remain. Same good people are around, too.

Oh yeah! I remember you. Just did a search for dahut and you're still there, Kiss Pandas, 1062 posts and all. You should be able to get the admins to merge your two profiles into one, if you want.

So long folks!

Honestly, I cant recall my old handle. "Dahut," maybe. I had an avatar, panda bears made up with KISS faces, like the rock band. You may recall that. When I tried to re-log yesterday, for the first time in over a year, I couldn't remember my password/username. The system pretty much locks up when that happens and it is more trouble than it's worth. So I just created this new one. My total post count should read in the 1000's.

This was, in fact, the first real forum I encountered that I remember. I was unaware they existed, as such. I was late coming to the world of personal computing and net based activity. When I first got into it, I knew such things as "alt.news.groups" or "user groups."

When I discovered the FSM forum for the first time, I was awe struck. I still think it has a lot going for it.

Well, welcome back!

How long have you been away, and what was your old nick? If you don't mind me asking!

So long folks!

I used to post here a lot. Then I had a falling out with the admin over my avatar, a few comments taken wrong... and so I departed. No foul, none given. Just parted ways.

But lately, all I've been hearing is how FSM screwed up the forum. Everybody is bailing like rats from a sinking ship, it seems. So Ive come over to see what all the fuss is about.

Ive been modeling for 40 years, on and off, and have seen a lot of changes. Not the least of which are these forums. From what I can see, this one is still the same - it just behaves differently. I can say the same about myself: Ive learned to mellow and approach things differently.

Its good to see some familar faces: Gerry Voigt, Ross Martinek," the Doog"... wassup Karl?

As for those who've left in a huff,....  let me be the first to say, you can always come back.
