Permission to come aboard......
I'm new here, but I've always had a love of modeling.
I've assembled quite a few models and made a couple dioramas when I was a kid. The majority was in 1/35th scale and WWII era. It has only been in the last few years that I've had the time and space to pursue the hobby again, after almost twenty years.
I am NOT a computor guy at all, but I will have to admit that it has made it so easy to get back into the hobby after so long. I'm still drawn to 1/35 th WWII for some reason. My first project I completed is a German 88 FLAK 36 / 37 ( Tamiya ) in a bombed out buidling by Mini-Art. I am now about half way through on my current project. I'm building two Marine Corps. M4A2 Shermans and infantry from Dragon and Japanese infantry from Tamiya for an Iwo Jima diorama.
I'm looking forward to seeing and reading more about everyone's projects here, I will contribute to the discussions when I can.
I'm already thinking about the next project I would like to do..........a diorama depicting Lexington greene on 19 April, 1775. Although I don't recall to have ever seen any 1/35th scale Revolutionary War figures availble. I will have to do some searching........
