                        I've admired the excellent workmanship on this forum for a while and finally decided to take the plunge.  I'm returning to the hobby after a 20-year hiatus and am quite impressed how far things have come along.  I model in 1/48 scale primarily and while my favorite subjects include Soviet/ Russian aircraft and Vietnam-era Wild Weasels, if it has wings I'm interested.

                        Lots of great info, good folks, and a great way to spend some time honing your skills. I came back to the hobbyafter 10 or so yrs, and am digging the scene here...

                        I'm back up and running after a timely hard-drive crash....Ugh!  How do we live with these machines!!!

                        Wishing everyone a safe, happy and prosperous New Year.  May your modeling endeavors require less sanding and filling than they did in 2009 (okay, a Hallmark Card author I'm not, but you get the message).
