Greetings Fellow Glue Sniffers :)
Posted by Jeep Guy 61 on Monday, January 4, 2010 9:15 PM

Greetings to all,

I've been a long time on again off again modeler, who is on again after a 3-4 year hiatus, ( life just gets in the way, dang it). Name is Rob, home is Southern Arizona.

I started slopping glue onto kits in 1967, with a Corvette Zinger. Like all of us , I progressed through the square bottle era, and have slowly honed my skills to where my glue spooges look good, by golly Smile.

I've wandered all over the spectrum subject wise and will probably continue that this time around, the big difference being, is that I'm back for good.

As I get closer to the half century mark, and our wonderful economy dictates picking one or two hobbies, I've decided after 42 years of sniffin' glue, this is where I belong.

Hopefully, as time goes on and I re-hone my skills, I can be a contributor, but for now, I'll be content to lurk for the most part.

Current projects are Eduard's King set BF-110, complete with 900,000 plastic parts, and11,000microscopic photo-etched parts Stick out tongue, and a Tamiya Missouri, complete with all the GMM brass, which probably adds up to 600,000 microscopic parts.

OK, I've babbled enough, lol. Thanks for letting me enjoy the company.....

That was funny!  I know the Eduard kits can get complex and the part count can get up there!  Half the time you won't even use alot of those parts (Look out for the carpet monster that eats your microscopic parts as they pop out of your hand onto the floor).

Welcome aboard!  You chose the better past time!
