comming back
Posted by ontosusmc on Saturday, February 20, 2010 6:32 PM

hey you guys---its me "ontosusmc" (i think) its been a long time since i have been here and i cant find any of you out there. i had previously posted some boat pics. and now i cant find them here. i built the S-100 Schnellboot, and the "Gato" class sub. i have now built the 1/35 scale PT boat and it turned out pretty good, if i am getting through let me know and i will post some more pics. the S-100 was a real beast and took up a lot of shelf space, however i have just purchased the I-53 Kaiten sub and it is absolutely the biggest yet (581/2inches long). just started the five mini subs and taped the hull and deck together (to check the fit) and it is just about perfect! i am thinking about putting real wood planking on the deck for more realisim and take away the toy like look Paull Boyer talked about in the January issue of FSM. if i am getting out there to you guiys let me know. thanks Phil
