Evening Everybody.

My name is Marcus Jellyman, i'm from Essex in the UK. I work as a Electrical Engineer at London Stansted Airport, looking after all the airports ground lighting. This includes all the runway/taxiway lighting and the systems that run it, and also all the fixed ground power on the stands.

Like many others i returned to the hobby after many years away, my main interest is modern jets, especially colourful US Navy jets from the 60's/70's. I'm not the fastest builder as i have a one year old daughter that requires my attention more and more! Right Hug

Hope to contribute to the forum as much as possible in the future.

You'll find a wealth of inspiration and information here. You'll find the folks here supportive and happy to share their years of experience. You'll also find that there is no time limit on projects. You'll hear of people finishing models in a weekend and then others taking months and even years. The goal is that you find enjoyment in the hobby. And sharing at this website can be equally enjoyable. Welcome. Rick

Hello Marcus! I agree 100% with rick. With all the info on these forums you can`t help but become a better modeler. Your story is the same as mine,,,and probabaly, everyone one else. Build models as a kid, discover girls and cars in the teen years then the night life in the 20`s. Settle down and have a family and rediscover the hobby. At least that`s how it went for me...keeps me outta trouble( the kind from my 20`s!) I`m looking forward to seeing some of your work! Again, Welcome, take care....Len
