Big Hi from down under in the AntipodiesCool

Have been building models a good part of my life, found this forum

and thought it a good place to join.

Build mainly aircraft models, have few on the bench in various

state of progress.

1/32 Brewster Buffalo Conversion from F2A-2 (Special hobby) in markings

of 488 Squadron Singapore 1941

1/72 scale Short Sunderland in 270 Squadron markings West Africa 1944

(and I have't used any PE either in interior either)

1/32 Scale RNZAF Grumman Avenger TBF 1-c

(Sorry haven't pictures ready to post)

Hope to post more soon

Regards

LDSModeler,

Welcome mate!Welcome Sign

I worked with two fellows from Auckland on a ski hill in Alberta Canada. Fortress Mountain 89-90 season. Actually Miles and Darrel were flat mates of mine. (shared condo housing) Cool people.Cool

I still remember waking up from a night shift making snow to see the two at the door, decked out in all new Sorel gear. 'G' day, we are you new roomies' I rolled my eyes and went back to bed.Confused

I see you are a fellow scratch builder! Excellent work on the bulkheads and extra details BTW~

Hi Gents

Thanks for the welcome!!!Cool

Andrew (aka Konigwolf13) Lived a good part of my life

in Aussie and my Wife is from NSW, all my family

live in Aussie and as Peter Allen says "I still call Australia Home"Cool

Even now when Wallabies play the ABs, I barrack for the Wallabies so

don't worry about the Kiwi vs Aussie thing (not that I'm a Rugby fan)
