Thank you everyone for the kind words. Glad you liked the pictures.

I'll be posting close-ups and WIP's on the subjects shown plus more of my builds in the appropriate forums, Dio's, AFV's and ships.

At present I'm tackling a UH-34 for our local Heli/Vietnam Group Build. Got some tips from the forum here and...man!...I'm slugging away with just one build and these guys have boxes and boxes of the same kit to be converted into seperate versions...phew!Bow Down I take my hat off to these guys.

Wow! a placing in the Expo. I am honored. Sad to say it's my one and only Sci-Fi build. I've got a Buck Rogers fighter on the way though.

Nice to be welcomed from the far corners of the globe. Hope to stay as long as I can see what I build.

Cheers,

Richard T Foenander

Welcome Sign Richard, those are some magnificent builds you have there!  Thanks for sharing the photos.

Ditto Excellent work mate!!!! I helped judge the sci-fi category at last years modelexpo here in Australia and the 'Where are they?' dio would have fit in nicely!!!!!!!! just from the pic I would say an easy 2nd or 3rd place!!! Looking forward to seeing more of your builds and hope to see you in some Group Builds!!!!!!

Hi,

I'm Richard. I've seen some great builds here and thought I'd say hello and also introduce myself.

Started in this hobby 40 years ago when I was eight yrs old. Back in those days we only had Airfix kits available only at the Armforces NAAFI and later at Robinsons and Cold Storage department stores. I stopped briefly during my teens and college days, you know "Girls" and "Disco" intervened. Took it up seriously after I started work.

I'm in Advertising. My busy schedules now only permit me to do sporadic building and with the available fantastic details, the builds take longer and production is slow. None the less I'm still enjoying the hobby.

I'm a member of the Selangor and Federal Territory Plastic Modeling Society in Malaysia and I'd like to say that it's small but healthy and growing. We have a site, do visit if you're free http://malaysiascalemodelling.com/index.php

Below are some examples of my builds. I build anything except cars and bikes. My favorite are Dioramas.

Hope the pictures come out from Photobucket, I can't seem to see it in the preview.

Cheers,

Richard
