Welcome back! You'll love the online stuff.
Ahhh! I am with you... I have two boys myself and they are old enough not to touch my stuff I keep in the basement. Things will get better when they get older... hang in there!

deafpanzer Welcome to the forum. I have a perfect solution for you... build your kits inside the house in summer then paint them all when it is cooler in the fall! Right now it is too humid and hot to be airbrushing in my garage up here in Indiana. Good luck

Believe me, I've thought about it, but I've got two young children in the house. Not really worried about my daughter - she's not even a month old yet - but my son is two, and I don't want him getting into paints, solvents, x-acto knives and the like. Though I may sneak some build time in when the wife takes the kids to visit their grandparents...

Welcome to the Forums & back to the Hobby .

Thanks for the welcome, Jason!
Believe it or not, it actually does cool off here in central Texas - just not until late September or early October.
Right now the combination of heat and humidity have me sweating through my clothes just reorganizing the pegboard and cleaning out cabinets...

Great to have you join the FSM forums. Not sure if it actually gets cooler in Texas, regardless it will rain sometime to allow for a few hours building.
Enjoy your time here, there are many helpful & skilled modelers to answer any questions.

Hey all! Taking up the hobby again after 10+ years away, and eager to be joining my first modelling forum! It's kind of cool to come back to something you remember from pretty much "before the internet" and discover this whole online side of things!
For the time being I'm working on cleaning out the garage and setting up a workspace. My plan is to be ready to start modelling again as the weather starts to turn cooler.
