Welcome to the Forums Welcome Sign.  Afraid there's nothing in the pipeline for the classic bombers in 1/48.

I know that a new 1/48 B-17 has been on the 'most wanted' new kits list for awhile, but I'm not sure if anyone is doing anything about it.  Word has floated around that Trumpeter would be the most likely candidate to produce a new B-17 but it would no doubt cost a small fortune to own.  There isnt really too much wrong with the Revell kits of the big bombers, just a little exta work needs to be done.  However, people continue to want a superdetailed model produced by someone else.  Check out the B-17 group build to see what people are able to do with their forts

Hi all,

I have built 48th aircraft since I was a kid, I am 60 now and enjoy the hobby more than ever.

I am, however, new to computers, posting etc.

There are so many great kits and accessories these days that the hobby is better than ever. My question is does anyone know if there are any companies looking at issuing any thing new in 48 like B17,29,24?

The old Monogram kits are great, but an updated version of these would be nice.
