Greetings!

Hello from Illinois.  I am looking to get back into a great hobby after being out of it for almost 30 years.  I'm sure things have changed quite a bit so I may need some or a lot of advice.

Hi, welcome to the forum and back into the hobby. This is deffinatly the place to learn, whether your a novice or an old hand you will pick up lots of good tips and advice. My modelling has improved more in the last 2 years of being on here than it did in the 20 years before.

Looking forward to seeing some of your builds.

I am a Norfolk man and i glory in being so

Greetings!

The most noticeable change is newer kits have aftermarket items included like PE (photo etch) and better fit & detail. Yet old molds never die, they are re-boxed with new cover art and sold cheaper. Price is a good indicator of the quality inside. Also the internet allows you to review model kits before your purchase.
