Good day to you all,
After searching for some pictures of a finished 1/6 SAS Desert Raider I ended up on this website.
I decided to subscribe and would like to introduce myself here.
My name is Eric Isarin, 46 years of age, from the Netherlands and a very frequent modeller. Since a few years I have picked up this hobby again after being forced to quit my job due to an illness.
Besides walking the dog and giving attention to my wife and our home, I also like to produce (electronic) music but that has become something that does not happen very often anymore.
As I've read on this forum: the urge to build is so strong that it almost turns out an obsession.
During process I am constantly thinking how to do this and that, even in my sleep.
Building plans are not always correct, the order of process is most of the time something you have to create yourself. But that is also the challenge and therefore makes this hobby a great one.
Sharing comments, critics and knowledge keeps the fire burning, so I hope to become a frequent member of this 'club', because there is still so much to learn.
And about the Desert Raider: I've just finished mine, you will find some pictures of it soon.
Regards,
Eric
