                        Yep. You got it...a new guy. The reason I joined in to this forum, besides enjoying building models for fun and relaxation, is to ask a question. If this is an old topic I apologize. Does anybody have a recommendation for the best way to remove the injection circles on the surfaces of parts? Fine, fine sanding? Soft tool for a dremel? Thanks for any suggestions.

                        Of course it depends if they are raised or sunken.

                        There are many ways:
                        1.) Sanding
                        2.) Filling with putty and sanding
                        3.) Punching a plastic disc and gluing it into the circle than sanding.

                        Oh, yes the wonderful world of ejector pin marks.Censored [censored] I never could get plastic discs right, so I'm pretty much a fill-and-sand type. Be sure to use finer grades of paper as you get closer to level, and mask off any close detail you don't want to damage.

                        Thanks for the replies folks; It has given me some immediate pointers and ideas. I like the idea of masking. Any recommendations on putty fill? I have tried a type, but it seemed rather coarse and inflexible to work with.
