Hi Folks,

This is my first post so i just wanted to say high to everyone and introduce myself. I have been building models since the age of 6 and I'm now 49,I mainly build helicopter models mostly from the Vietnam era and sometimes I build Airline models. My wife say's I need to build different models not just helicopters which may be true but I'm a "RotorHead" and I know the subject really well. I have some of my model's at The Army Aviation Museum At Ft Rucker Alabama as well as the National Aviation Museum of Scottland,The Navy Seal Museum in Ft Pierce, Fl and the Pensicola Naval aviation Museum.I have learned so many useful technics from Fine Scale Modeler over the years and I thought Joining Fine Scale Modeler on the web would help develop some friendships on-line.     Keith

Welcome to the Forums Keith. They are also known as Plasticaholics Anonymous. Looks like you really do know that subject very well. Showing lots of pics of your builds is the best way to make friends on here. Wink

Welcome! My last helicopter project ( a chickasaw I believe) went south during painting. So I fixed it by "throwing " it North!!!  It flew just fine!

Dont worry about the thumbprint, paint it Rust , and call it "Battle Damage"

Welcome Keith, Man would I love to see some pics of your helos. Although I have yet to build a helicopter I have a very special one in my stash and that is Academy's 1/48 MH-53E Sea Stallion which comes with markings for my older brothers Mine Interdiction Squadron HM14 of which he was the Commander of.
