The "New Guy"

Good afternoon to all. My name is Scott and I am returning to the scale model hobby after about 19 years! I'm working on an inventory of my old hand tools to determine what I need to get and/or replace. I've stayed current with my reading through Kalmbach books, and recognize technology has changed quite a bit.

I look forward to my next trip to a hobby shop to start a new relationship, and pick up a few items. I'm also looking forward to reading the necessary fourm topics as I attempt to learn new skills and advance my old ones.

I prefer semi tractors and trailors. I still remember building the tractor and trailor from the TV show "Movin' On". I like heavy equipment generally, and planes; typically WWII and before. I also had a mentor from Church many, many years ago that showed me how to build metal models. Might have to see if the still exist.
