I am new to this forum but not new to the hobby. I am also on Scale Auto under the same screen name. Just came over here to see what everyone is up to and get some good tips for my other that auto models. I have been building aircraft, armor and ships for about 23 years and and have been building cars for the last almost 15 years.
I'm from the government and I'm here to help.
Welcome to the forums

Glad to have you with us! I'm in Colorado, too (Longmont)- small world, eh?
Gimme a pigfoot, and a bottle of beer...
Welcome to the forum Ledfut! You came to the right place to learn stuff about aircraft models. I've been building for around 34 years and have done (er.....attempted) everything from cars to tanks to ships and aircraft and I've gotta say that I just love older aircraft models. I used to build cars alot until I started working on them professionally 18 years ago. I like stuff that you can't put your hands on everyday as well as the story behind them. As far as Colorado goes, my experience with that place was in 2002-2003 when I was stationed at Pueblo Chemical Depot for homeland defense with the Texas ARNG. I loved the scenery and disliked the weather.
Anyhow welcome aboard and look forward to seeing some pictures out of your stuff, Joe

How are y'all doing? I am in Greeley and when I build cars I build stock, hot rods, and some street cars or vintage gassers and drag cars. I was in the army as a cannon crew member on the M109a6 and I did some time as a UH-60 Blackhawk mechanic. I have been married for five years, and I build hot rods and work on Model A fords when I am not at school or work. I like to build 1/32 WWII aircraft and 1/48 Modern mostly U.S. But I have a few German jets of WWII. I only build 1/35 U.S. armor and I am waiting on the Riich Models M109a6 to come out. as for ships I do 1/350 scale because I like the detail. Thank you all for the posts and what not and hope you kids a good time!
