Back in the game
Posted by Chappy on Monday, February 25, 2013 3:38 PM

I'm sure you've all heard this before, but I'm another 42 year "kid" back in the modeling game after 25+ years away from the hobby. I've quickly escalated from a few Testors enamels and a tube of glue, to a full scale assortment of Tamiya acrylics, a Badger Patriot 105 airbrush/Senco compressor, a workbench full of modeling tools and a never ending search for tips and awesome builds on the internet.

I'm really into WWII fighters currently, but I've also got my sights set on some jets as well.

After a day or two to figure it out, I absolutely love using the airbrush. It's really a revelation.

Anyway, looking forward to keeping up with the hobby on the forum. Hello to all!

Cheers

Welcome, Chappy.  There's always room for more WWII fighters.

Welcome to endless wonder and friendly arguments without end. Model builders have powerful imaginations, which are essential and dangerous. Models are petrified imagination. Post lots and lots of pictures.

Occasional factual, grammatical, or spelling variations are inherent to this thesis and should not be considered as defects, as they enhance the individuality and character of this document.
