                        Hello there,

                        my name is Gerry Power and I'm from Ireland. I have returned to model making after a twenty year hiatus .  In that time I have been playing guitar in a blues band, but that has become to unhealthy and unrewarding. I used to make aircraft ( mostly 1:72 scale ) back in the 80's. The main thing I have noticed is that kits have become far more detailed, which is great !   I used to build a lot of Airfix and Matchbox back then,  but I was bought a present of a Hasegawa he 111 for Christmas and I   was amazed at the detailing.

                        Anyway fellow modelers, I look forward to discussing all things aircraft,

                        Welcome to the forums Gerry. Copy all things aricraft. I'm down on that. Lots of fantastic folks here always willing to help out in any way. Be sure to post some pics of that He 111. We would love to see how your doing.
