Welcome to the Forums Gerry. Glad to have you aboard. My name is Jim and I am a plasticaholic. I love the smell of plastic in the mourning. I build whatever strikes my fancy at the time. Hope to see pics of your He 111.

Hello, I'm new !
Posted by gerrypower on Sunday, March 10, 2013 4:40 PM

Hello there,

my name is Gerry Power and I'm from Ireland. I have returned to model making after a twenty year hiatus .  In that time I have been playing guitar in a blues band, but that has become to unhealthy and unrewarding. I used to make aircraft ( mostly 1:72 scale ) back in the 80's. The main thing I have noticed is that kits have become far more detailed, which is great !   I used to build a lot of Airfix and Matchbox back then,  but I was bought a present of a Hasegawa he 111 for Christmas and I   was amazed at the detailing.

Anyway fellow modelers, I look forward to discussing all things aircraft,

Regards,  Gerry Power
