Hello
Posted by vindicator on Thursday, March 14, 2013 11:02 AM

Hello all. As I am new to this forum business, I guess I should introduce my self some what. I am an old retired guy that has been building models since before there were many plastic kits. My main interests are automotive projects and armor. Most any track will do, but I tend to go with a lot of WWll German stuff. Cars tend to be mostly of the FoMoCo venue. Right now I am dealing with the new Revell '57 Ford kit. I do enjoy an airplane now and then, but I find I have space limitations for most of them I really like. The P-61 and any B-24 top my lists. I enjoy looking at ship models , but they are over my pay grade. I have an 1/35 diorama that I have been working on for some time and may be the death of me yet. If I ever get it done I may try to figure out how to post a photo of the thing! Thanks for looking.

Hi Vindicator! Welcome to the Forums. My name is Jim and I am a plasticaholic. I love the smell of plastic in the mourning. Lots of great people on here that are ready to help you with any questions/problems that you may have. We love to see lots of pics of your builds wether they are finished or not. Glad to have you aboard.

Welcome aboard. You won't go amiss with WW2 German armour. Posting pics takes a bit of getting used to, but once you do its a breeze. You need a hosting site such as photobucket to start with. Can't wait to see that Dio.

I am a Norfolk man and i glory in being so

As a matter of fact, I had an exceptionally full,
stimulating if I may say so, useful day at the computer.

Welcome!   You know you are a modeler when it takes  forever to get it just the way you want it.  I have been working on the same 1/87 scale passenger car for over 10 years now!  Dont let that diorama get you down. You will finish it when you finish it. And it will be glorious!  As for my passenger car......well... a few well placed firecrackers and a cup of gas may be whats needed to finish that!

Please post pictures as soon as you figure out how to do it.  Most of us use  PHOTOBUCKET.  It took me all of 15 min. to get myself up and posting pictures.   And I,m compootor illiterate.  LOL

My names LittleTimmy and I'm a plastahaulic who can,t spell !

Dont worry about the thumbprint, paint it Rust , and call it "Battle Damage"
