Well Joe, since you asked, I am working on a 2 projects, A dauntless currently on hold, and a Bf 109 G10 with alternate decals for Marseilles. I think that's how you spell it.  It will be very cool when done with a spray can or If I can get enough money, An Airbrush.

It's awesome to have you join us. Participating here on the forum has the potential to really make your modeling not only better but lot more fun too. Feel comfortable asking any questions and by all means share photos of your models with us. What are you currently building?

Welcome to the Forums! My name is Jim and I am a plasticaholic. I love the smell of plastic in the mourning. I think I was 13 once, but that was a long, long time ago. It was uuuuuhhhh 1953 to be exact (I think). I build whatever strikes my fancy at the time. You are very lucky to have a dad that builds with you. My dad thought it was a big waste of time and money. My two uncles took over and kept me and my brother supplied with models and equipment. Enjoy the hobby. Post lots of pics of your builds.

Welcome aboard. Don't worry, us oldies don't bite, though we do get grumpy now and again. You may well find an airbrush is very handy for aircraft as well, especially if you are doing anything German.

Feel free to ask anything you can think of. None of us are to old to learn, and you may well find you have a few thinsg to teach us.

I am a Norfolk man and i glory in being so

Welcome!  I'm 47 and still learning new things from here.  Great bunch of modelers here with a wealth of info to help you along and sharpen your skills.  Pics of your work are a must too!  Remember, everytime someone post pics and tells you about a build, it is a up close and personal review for you in case you ever think of getting that model!  Have fun!

Welcome!  I was thirteen once......  but it was a looooong time ago!   Jump on in and look around. We will be happy to answer any  questions you have.   Sometimes my answers may be a bit goofy so you dont have to listen if you dont want to.     And dont forget to post pictures of your builds.    We love pictures!    Dont be afraid to share.....  I have built more "crappy" kits than I care to remember!  So even us old guys can screw up from time to time!

Dont worry about the thumbprint, paint it Rust , and call it "Battle Damage"

Hey guys!  I'm kinda new to the forums and need a little helping hand.

If you looked at my profile you will see I do mainly aircraft of World War 2, but I have strayed close to the Armor, but until I get an airbrush that works,  ill stick to my airplanes.

I got in to the hobby when my dad and I made an me262 and told me the stories of him modeling in the a I have learned, the "Golden days" of modeling.  I am probably the youngest modeler here at 13, but still am getting better, but still pretty skilled and getting better.

Hope to hear plenty of responses! See you all later
