Welcome tot he forums! Montreal! So close, yet so far. I'm in Vermont just across the border in St. Albans area. Montreal is pretty big, so you should have no problems finding other modelers. Be sure to check and see if there are any model shows close to you. Great way to meet fellow modelers and pick up some kits and decent prices! I know the Can/Am is 26 April in Plattsburgh, NY.

I forgot to ask if any of you are from Montreal area? I would like to meet and do some scale models with people from my region.
Hi everybody. I'm back to this forum and scale models. I have not done anything for the last months. I was procrastinating a lot but now I am back and I want to put more time and effort into this wonderful hobby. I also bought a few structures to build because I want to create a model railroad also.
Welcome! If this iS indeed a Canadian invasion ... Then I better stockpile some kits. Oh wait... done that!
Dont worry about the thumbprint, paint it Rust , and call it "Battle Damage"
Thanks Joe :)
Welcome to the forum hellwarrior. Lots of WWII buffs here. I've been reading alot of books too. Picked up "A Higher Call" last week from the local airport on the way out. I was reading it and was about 50 pages along and my wife stole it from me to read. Oh well I brought a "Fw 190 Defense of the Riech Aces" book by Osprey Publications to read on this trip to Dallas. Maybe she will be through with the other book when I get back so I can read it. Hey look on the bright side. I have wife who's interested in WWII aviation!
Holy smokes! Enough about me. It's great to have you here and am looking forward to seeing your pics and commentary, Joe

Hi everybody, I'm from Quebec, Canada area. I am a world war II newbie but in the past, I had four or five college courses during which we talked about the first and second world war but I don't know much about it since then.
I don't know why but since the beginning of the year my interest in world war II increased dramatically. I'm reading books, watching documentaries, playing war board games and starting modelling. I just bought a few boxes of Flames of War (Open Fire) and two smaller one. I also went to search a few space shuttles models I started fifteen years ago and I decided to finish them properly but I need tips.
I'm glad to have found this forum :)
