Hello
Posted by mgard on Saturday, April 27, 2013 10:34 AM

Greetings. My name is Mike and I'm from New York. I've been modelling for over 40 years and mostly build 1/35 WW2 armor. I am currently working on a diorama of a Pit Road Type 92 Heavy Armoured Car . I joined this site in the hopes of picking up new tips.

mgard,

Welcome to the forum!  40 years you say.....then you have no excuse to NOT post some pics of your builds.  In case you can't tell, we love pics here on the forum.  I'm just starting to get into armor myself.  Hopefully I can get some tips from you!

Welcome, glad to have you on board. And no doubt, you will have plenty to pass on yourself. This is a great place to learn new ideas and pass on those you already know.

I am a Norfolk man and i glory in being so

Thank you. I would love nothing more than to be able to post pictures of my work, unfortunatley I do not have the proper camera for taking pictures of them, yet. Hopefully I will get one in the near future, if I stop spending all my extra cash on reference books. I will be more than happy to share any tips or techniques I've aquired over the years.

Welcome to the Forums Mike. Glad to have you aboard. We need more "Old Timers" here to keep these young wippersnappers under control. I've been building for 66 of my 72 years and I still have a lot to learn even though I learn something new every day. I build whatever strikes my fancy at the time. Enjoy! It's a great hobby.
