Returning to the fold
Posted by returning modeler on Friday, June 7, 2013 3:41 PM

I am now in the latter part of my life and have become an avid reader and constantly looking for new Ideas in the creative field especially all types of modeling

As a child I loved making models, especially the Revell brand, which came with a variety of war figures.

Unfortunately I would always end up with more glue and paint on myself then the finished model, plus I never had the patience that I have developed now in my latter years.

Have always envied excellent work and am proud to see that their are many creative and talented people out there.

Thanks for the many Tips and Ideas.

Welcome to the Forums!! Glad to have you aboard! Looks like you went through the same learning process as the rest of us. Keep at it and be sure to post pics of your builds. If you need any help, just ask. There are plenty of great guys, and gals, on here that are ready, willing, and able to help you. Good luck!

Welcome, I guess I could say I am a returning modeler too!  Got tons of collected kits and haven't finished anything for at least 20 years....although I've started a few.  I will say, I agree there are many talented builders here, and many great inspiring builds. I use up my all modeling time being here on the forum!
