New to the Forum

Hello, I'm new to this forum but not to modeling.

I've been building models as long as I can remember. I started with my Dad who also built models and it's always stuck with me. I've been on a bit of a break from building for a couple of years now but I'm starting to  feel that familiar itch again. Now if I can just find the time to fit it into my already busy schedule.....

I'm looking forward to re-learning some old techniques and hopefully some new ones as well.

Welcome to the Forum, Dave! I started building with my dad, too. I think it's a common refrain, but no less special for those of us who got so spend quality time with our fathers.

Looking forward to seeing your builds!

Tim

Welcome, Dave. You've come to the right place. We would all love to see some pics of your builds and I'm sure you have plenty to teach us from your years of experience.

Bill.

Thanks for the welcome...

The itch is getting a little "itch-e-er"

The other day I stopped into a "trash to treasure" store (first time in there) and they had a ton of old, original issue models that sparked a lot of memories. Lots of the old funny car models, an original release "Sea-View" and a couple of original release "Old Ironsides" (USS Constitution) Lots of fond memories. I actually considered purchasing the Sea-View but my wife reminded me of all of my "other" projects I said I would get to first. She's right, it would bug me too much knowing I have it and not building it. Plus I'd be tempted to rush it instead of taking my time. She's a great helper...

I forgot to include this link:

www.pasquinellifamily.com/.../models.htm

This is a web site I did a long time ago with pictures of some of the models I've built. Most of the pics aren't that great, it was before any good mega pixel cameras were affordable. Some of them are even scans from an old Kodak 110 camera we used to have.

I haven't updated this in a long time and I think the last model I did was the "Eagle 1" , wow, it has been a long time...
