I'm starting to wonder about this guy. Claims in some threads to be a former F-105 driver and retired Brigadier General, as well as an IPMS Nationals winner. Yet if you Google the name he gave at the opening of this thread nothing of the sort comes up....

I'm not going to argue with you. The point of the forums is to politely share, teach, and learn.  If you cant do these things with some tact and courtesy you have no place on this site.

That's obviously not true.  If it is as good as you say they WOULD put it in their magazine.  I'm just not sure why you wont show the work you do.  Thats the point of these forums.  Plus if your going to say you are a master you might as well back it up.  I'd be interested in seeing....

Are you ever going to show pictures of your work?  You keep saying you are a master.  I would like to see this work.

Thanks for posting your info here. Alclad is just fantastic at producing a very realistic metallic finish with very little effort. No wonder model car guys strip off the manufactured chrome off parts and replace it with Alclad Chrome for a more scale and realistic finish.

I'm one of the "train guys" from a neighboring Kalmbach Forum group but since this topic is about natural metal finishes, I just want to share info.  I've had outstanding results using Alclad2 finishes, particularly in achieving realistic stainless steel finishes on scale model passenger cars.
