50 year old kid back into modeling
Posted by bobheck on Friday, March 7, 2014 8:34 PM

Hello!

I am a 50 year old man ready to get back into modeling.  I was quite the modeler when I was a youngster. Have not touched a model in over 30 years.   But, I just ordered a Revell P-51C and paint and I am ready to get back into something I really loved.  Looking forward to reading the forums and learning all I can.

Thank you

Bob Heck

Welcome to the Forums Bob! Glad to have you aboard!

Lots of great guys, and gals, ready to help you with any problems or questions that you may have. I've been building for 67 of my 73 years and I build whatever strikes my fancy at the time. I'm still learning.

Sit back, have a few sips of your favorite beverage Coffee Beer Drinks Toast Wink and enjoy the hobby.

Glad to have you Bob!  You'll find that there are a lot of us guys who have come back to modeling after being away for many years.  This is a great place full of experienced builders, newbies, and every stage in between.  You'll be happy here.

Welcome to the forum Bob! Isn't it funny how we gravitate back to the hobby that we had in our youth? Looking forward to seeing that Mustang build!!
