Long time modeler, first time forum user.

I have been building models since I was 5 (50 years ago). I try to work on something every day. As my logon suggests, I am crazy about models. I build tanks, planes, ships, cars, Wooden square rigged ships, model railroads. In short, if it can be modeled, I’m crazy about it. While I am probably an intermediate molder I am always trying to improve my techniques and looking forward to learning from all of you. I am a 14 year Coast Guard veteran and currently live in Meridian ID.

Building a kit from your stash is like cutting a head off a Hydra, two more take it's place.

Welcome to the forums!  You're not crazy....we all feel that way!  I too have a varying range of genres I model.  Have been on an armor kick here since I did one not too long ago.  Anyway, jump on in and have fun!

Welcome to the Forums! Glad to have you aboard!

I have built models for 67 of my 73 years and I build whatever strikes my fancy at the time. As was said above, you'll fit right in here.

Welcome!  Always glad to talk to multi-genre modelers.  I don't build all that much armor, but do one now and then.  Do a lot of every other genre.

I think it is important for us multi-genre modelers to occasionally look at the whole list of forums. In addition for forums for each genre, there is a lot of good stuff in the tools, techniques and reference materials set of forums.

Welcome to the forum. While there are a wide range of modeler skills here; from beginner to master modeler, don't despair or feel you aren't up to snuff. Most members will tailor they assistance to the perceived skill level of the modeler.
