Hello, A new member here. Kaiju kits are my only interest. I am very new to building kaiju.

My name is Chris and I am just about obsessed with all things Godzilla, and other related Monsters.

I am in the beginning stages of Building a resin King Ghidorah kit(Image, Destroy All Amonsters).it is my first Kaiju kit. I did some autos growing up. but this is a different kind of Monster, pun intended lol!

I am also working on a Bandit 1993 Mechagodzilla vinyl kit.

Hope to get to know some of you folks and make some friends.

I will post some pics sooner than later.

Go! Go! Godzilla!

Welcome to the Forum, Chris.  I'm not familiar with Kaiju kits.  Will have to do a little google searching.

And now I know.  "Kaiju"=Japanese:  "strange beast," "monster."

And there seem to be a lot of them out there.

Welcome to the forums Chris!  Can't wait to see your monster builds!  Grew up watching all those great monster movies as a kid.  My favorites were Rodan and Gamera!  I'll have to check out these kits.  Might have to drop some coin on a couple of them!

Welcome Sign Modelling is an obsession, an occupation, a disease, an addiction, a fascination, an absurdity, a fate. It is not a weak mind’s hobby. Those who do it must do it. Those who do not do it, think of it as a cousin of stamp collecting, a sister of the trophäekabinetts [trophy cabinet], and [dinkywongo] of a sound bank account.

Occasional factual, grammatical, or spelling variations are inherent to this thesis and should not be considered as defects, as they enhance the individuality and character of this document.

Welcome to the forums!

I too love everything Godzilla! I purchase a bunch of the old Aurora snap together Godzilla kits for my kids. I got them hooked on the big green guy too!

I did not realize they have Kaiju kits in resin, I'm going to have to find some of these kits!

Look forward to seeing some pics of these kaiju!

Welcome aboard Chris!

I would enjoy seeing your work.

Steve

Building a kit from your stash is like cutting a head off a Hydra, two more take it's place.
