New to FineScale have a few models to show
Posted by aWintersTale on Monday, August 18, 2014 9:42 AM
Hi! I just joined online FSM, and after reading some of the posts, I am impressed how modelers, in general, are upbeat and positive, with usually good things to say. I think modeling requires patience, a clear head, and affords people a quiet time to reflect on techniques, products, and even themselves with life in general, allowing a "mellowing-out session." (It would be difficult to model when the mind is clouded with thoughts or the emotions are running rampant.) I just got back into modeling, as my surroundings are more conducive for doing so (selling my Downtown Los Angeles loft and moving into the home I grew up in, it has a backyard and garage where I can paint and build!). I only have a few models built, but would like to know how and where I can copy and paste pictures of these with a few words to describe them. I like less common builds, having built the Soviet Aerosan, the British Welbike, the Tamiya Staff VW, and Tamiya's German Infantry set. Oh, and my first tank, the M5A1 from Tamiya. All these were built since January 2013. Thank you for the help.

Welcome aboard. For posting pics, you need a hosting site such as photobucket.

Well, in truth, Doog's_ATX did the work, I just put in the link. And thanks Greg, I was in a bit of a rush when I posted and had forgotten to add the link when I got back.

I'd considered that, your are right, Bish.

That said, if we keep being modest and passing on the credit back down the line, eventually we will get to thanking Al Gore, who of course invented the internet. Big Smile
