Finally back!
Posted by navygunner on Monday, October 13, 2014 11:34 AM

Hello All

After a 22 year hiatus I am finally back to the hobby. I am a retired (retired in 1997) US Navy Gunner (ordnance officer). I worked on F-14s, F/A 18s, A-6s, A-7s, EA-6Bs, S-3A and B, and P-3Cs and had a few ship's company tours as well.

I build mostly armor/dioramas but am trying to break out of that and try other categories as well. So much has changed over the years its nearly overwhelming but the thrill of getting the shrink wrap off a new kit and examining the sprues still feels the same as when I was a little kid!

It's so great to be back!

Welcome aboard Marc,

I'm sure you have a lot of things you can teach us about Navy AC and loadouts.

Building a kit from your stash is like cutting a head off a Hydra, two more take it's place.

Welcome to the Forums Marc!  Glad to have you aboard!  Thank you for your service.

I'm sure you'll be getting a lot of requests for info about your background. Sit back, have a few sips of your favorite brew (Coffee Drinks Beer Toast ) and enjoy the hobby.
