Welcome!  Hope you like it here!   The folks here really make it a nice place to have fun and learn!  I've loved it since I joined!

How do you like being a diesel tech?  A friend of mine works for Ford and wants to go the diesel route.  He has been in the business for around 3 or 4 years so far I think.

Welcome back.  I'm back from a year away as well.  A lot has changed In the paint manufacturing community.  The good thing is you have lots of choices.   Have fun!

Thank you for all the warm welcomes, anyone who needs advice on trucks can feel free to ask. I am a big truck and car lover but I think I want to give building armor a try. I picked up a tank model kit from hobby lobby a few years ago that I think I will give a try.

Welcome to the Forums Jeep!  Glad to have you aboard!

As you know from being in and out of the hobby, it is an addiction that can't be kicked.  Welcome to Plasticaholics Anonymous. You need any help, you've come to the right place.  However, I'm sure that some of the members will come to you for info that you can supply on trucks.  Enjoy.

Welcome to the forum Jeep,

I'm sure working on trucks is a lot better than driving them. I should know, I drove the lower 48 for 5 1/2 years and owned a 2004 Freightliner Century.

I'm excited to see your builds.

Building a kit from your stash is like cutting a head off a Hydra, two more take it's place.

Hello my fellow modelers, I'm 31 and been in and out of the hobby for the past 18 years but this time I plan on sticking to it for the long haul. With the birth of my son approaching I figure that I will not get too much time in the garage working on my car so I need something that I can work on and build over a period of time while having my boy right next to me. I am a ASE certified diesel mechanic and I love trucks so I think I am going to start building model trucks. I have a Peterbilt 359 conventional sitting in the closet that I will start with, just have to make a trip to hobby lobby and pick up supplies, but before any of that I have to research paints and all that good stuff. Alright that is enough talk from me right now, lol, I hope to learn a lot from the forums and get some good advice. See you all around the boards.
