After a few decades away from modeling I'm back at it, only to discover its much more technical and complex than it was when I left it. And that's a wonderful thing as the the market has so many options I didn't have when I stopped so long ago.
I'm currently 5 aircraft in, the first of which is not salvageable after being knocked off its perch by my grandson. And it was poorly done. I have two 109s and 2 190s in progress. The last build is obviously my best so far, but judging by some of the models I've seen in terms of shading, weathering, chipping et am, I've got a long way to go.
I have three builds that I'm holding off doing. One is a 1/48/scale B29, the others are 1/32 P38 and P51. All are NMF and to make them right, I've got so much to learn. Which brings me here!
