Good to have you aboard. I too took a break for many years and came back into the hobby about 5 years ago. I model exclusively Canadian military aircraft and there are some great kits and decals for these now.

There are also some great people on this site, both in friendliness and in knowledge. Folks are really willing to help and share information and this is great for a hobby that can be a bit solitary at times

I must say I am active member on a number of forums from cars to aquaria and I have never seen so many offers to help from such a welcoming group.  Thank you!!  I just finished a P51D Revell kit...it was a farily simple and cheap kit, and thought it would be a good one to use to hone up my skills.  I had a blast making it :)

I have been doing a bit research on airbrushes (Don's Airbrush has been great) and have narrowed my search to the Iwata Revolution CR or HP-CS.  I build mainly car and aircraft and have heard great things about both brushes.  Just wondering if anyone has a view or has used both--I have very limited experience with an airbrush so please bear that in mind.  Compressor wise, I am considering the Sprint Jet.

Lup, interestingly l currently use the Iwata Revolution CR and I retired my HP-C about 4 years ago. I've build probably 60 models with the Revolution and I've been VERY happy with it. It's very forgiving and will go for days between full on cleanings. Great AB YesYes

Thanks Rob--I have heard really good things about the CR. What compressor do you use?

Hey lup, sorry, missed this thread of late: I use a piston pump Badger model with a regulator.
