Good morning everyone.
Just to let you know I am working on putting some pictures up using my Galaxy G3
My 11 year old son and I have been digging up my kits I had stored away and we have been building them together. To help develop his basic skills and sharpen up mine, we started building the old Czech
1/50 scale Italian a/c kits. Also some of the older Monogram 1/48 ww2 a/c kits.
We also have tackled a few 1/32 scale kits which is what we both really like!!!
I the time I was out I am so amazed at how 1/32 made a come back with kits I could only dream about years ago, i.e., 1/32 HE-111 JU-88, HE-162, P-39, HE-100 and the HE-219 which we just bought last night! I forgot a Mig-3, and a Italian G-50.
21st Century Models came out with a 1/32 MC-202/205 and somewhere I picked up a G-55.
It looks like Revell Germany is an awesome company. A friend when to the Toy Show in Germany and was super impressed with what he saw. They wouldn't deny or confirm but we may see some long overlooked a/c that would be awesome in 1/32 like a ME-210/410, DO-335(Hope and pray on that one-it would be a jewel of a kit!!) Somehow I would like to see Italieri pick up the ball on Italian WW2 Italian a/c in 1/32 with a Breda 65 and a few other twin engine types at least in1/48.
Well at this time I am looking into an exhaust system to use so we don't stink up the house. It sound sacrilegious but rust-O-leum has a series of spray paints that pretty closely match the military colours for painting!! For Joey's stage and time they really look good!! We painted an 1/72 Italian CR-25 and a bunch of Supermodel Italian a/c using the sand and Spinach with brown red splotches and they come out really nice!!
The technology of the spray nozzle allows a nice smooth even distribution of the paint NO spitting or bubbling!!
Enough for now
Thanks everyone for welcoming us aboard
