Thanks everyone for the warm welcome! :-)
I think my first build will be the 1/35 Tamiya Kubelwagen with the engine maintenance kit. Nothing too complicated and some photo-etch accessories.
I just struggle to keep up.
Steve
Building a kit from your stash is like cutting a head off a Hydra, two more take it's place.

I will second that comment wholeheartedly!!! LOL...Thanks Steve, but I'm not sure I would go that far for me at all! You sir are mighty talented yourself!
On the Bench: Lots of unfinished projects!
Just sayin.
Hello, and welcome. I too, am from Nampa. This forum is the best there is, bar none.
Hobbytown's got a pretty good selection. I'm often impressed. They can't seem to keep their paint in stock for some reason though.
We do have an IPMS chapter if your interested. http://www.ipmsboise.org/. It meets every third Saturday of the month. There are usually kits that members are selling for supper low prices. It's a crap shoot though.
ErnSanGiacomo I drive up to the Boise/Meridian/Nampa at least once per month. New to Idaho though, can you recommend any good independently owned hobby stores there.

There is a Hobbytown USA in Boise. Other than that there is one independent store in Nampa, Team Dewey Hobbies on the Nampa-Caldwell Blvd. I have spoke with the owner and he states that the do carry plastic model kits and supplies; however, I have not been in there yet to check it out. There is also an online company based in Middleton (just outside of Caldwell) that will do free pickup and delivery in the Treasure Valley, the company is www.jachobbies.com Basically, if you order from them, they will arrange a time to meet you when possible if you live in the area.
