Welcome to the Forums Brian!  Glad to have you aboard!

I've been building for 68 of my 74 years and I build whatever strikes my fancy at the time.  You've come to the right place.  Great people here that are ready, willing and able to help you with any question/problem.

Welcome Brian  Welcome Sign

Your in good company, there a many members who build all three subjects. An airbrush is almost indispensable for this hobby, It's as important to me as an xacto knife. If fact, I think I could work without an xacto before an airbrush.
Your link didn't work for me either. Look through Forum Technical Assistance for instructions to downloading pictures. I personally use Imageshack instead of photobucket. It is way easer and doesn't try to tell me there is something wrong with your computer and direct you to "cleaning" software site that you'll never get off you hard drive.

Building a kit from your stash is like cutting a head off a Hydra, two more take it's place.

Welcome aboard. Aircraft, armour and sci-fi is exactly what I build. Look forward to seeing your work.

getting an airbrush is the best move I ever made. I mainly do German aircraft and only German armour, some of those schemes would be a nightmare without one. Unfortunately the link didn't work for me. You can post pics directly but you need a hosting site such as Photobucket of Flickr

I am a Norfolk man and i glory in being so

Hey there!

My name is Brian Jacobs and I have been a subscriber for over twenty years, maybe longer. I have been building since a very young age, probably around 6 or 7 and was introduced to the hobby by my father who did team builds with my uncle.

I will build just about anything, however, I spend a good amount of time on armor, airplanes, and sci-fi. One of my favorite things about Fine Scale Modeler is the Monthly Reader Gallery. Absolutely love looking at other people's work and getting inspiration from them. I also enjoy the Video Tips and Lessons which have advanced my work in new directions in recent years.

Just used an airbrush for the first time to do some green camouflage on AFV Club's 1/48th scale Tiger I. Wasn't as hard as I thought and I was rather pleased with my results.
