Wow! Thanks everyone. I look forward to participating in the forums. Can't say I am much of a participant to forums, but I have gleaned a lot of great insights from other posts. I am truly a fan of WW2 aircraft. Right now I am working on a C47 from Monogram 1/48 scale. As I am sure everyone can understand, life tends to get in the way of finishing projects rapidly! I would like to say I build for the ultimate goal of sharing with the world but mainly I enjoy the art of turning something into a semi real looking piece. I see a ton of amazing models and hope to one day produce a real gem. I will try to post a pic of my first model...not crazy good but decent after such a long hiatus.

Welcome to the Forums Muskee!  Glad to have you aboard!

You really have come to the right place.  The guys and gals on here are very knowledgeable and are always ready, willing and able to help out with any questions/problems that you might have. I've been building for 68 of my 74 years and I build whatever strikes my fancy at the time.  I've learned a lot from the people on here.  I think I learn something new almost every day.  Hope to see pics of your builds.  Enjoy!

Welcome back!  Many of us have similar stories, having built models as kids but giving it up (for me, HS graduation in '82 was the milestone) and then coming back years later.  What subjects do you like?  I look forward to seeing your builds!

Best regards,

Brad

Hello! After a 15 year absence from modeling, I have decided to re enter the hobby with gusto! Much has changed but I am looking forward to the process.
