Hello, and greetings from Finland!

Hi!

I am happy to join your hobby community and hope to learn new tricks here. I am mostly centered around tabletop wargaming, tough I do enjoy scale modelling very much too. wwII is my bread and butter, so pretty much all my stuff revolves around that particular theme. I also enjoy scifi and enjoy sculpting my own scifi models.

I recently started a blog with three of my very talented friends who share my passion towards these kind of hobbies. We hope to both collect our work under "one banner" and in the future, add stuff like guides and how to's about anything and everything covering painting techniques in different scales, sculpting, terrain building, scratchbuilding, etc etc.

I love really tiny stuff, and my preferred scale of doing things is 1/100. Most of my friends prefer the scale too, but we do change it up sometimes to keep ourselves on our toes!

For those of you interested, our blog can be found here : www.achtungpainter.com
I post stuff there under the same name I post here, but be sure to check out my brothers in arms too.

Thanks!

Here is an illustration I did based on my own sculpts

Welcome ; toivottaa tervetulleeksi, ( blame Google if it is wrong)  to the forum.
From your blog site you and you're friends have a great grasp of model building and making great "story's " with the bases.

Welcome to the forum.

I use to wargame in miniatures a long time ago. We would game for 18 hours straight sometimes. I miss it very much. It was unbelievably fun. But since I have raise kids and long since sold all my miniatures.

Our main focus was WWII and modern armor, well modern 28 years ago. I never got into mechs, however some of the guys in the club did.

Great looking work Panzermonsch, I'm happy your here.

Steve.
