Hello from Puerto Rico
Posted by Scarecrow Joe on Sunday, April 5, 2015 3:37 PM

Hi!

Ive been building models since the early eighties (Im 43 years old)) and even won a few local shows.  I remember one of the first place prices was a subscription to FineScale Modeler mag for 1 year.  Then life happened and here I am, building again.  My first interests were cars, but later was heavily involved with everything militar, even made a few dioramas.

Recently duted off some of my knowledge and learned a lot of new tricks when I decided to build a MPC Millenium Falcon.  Made a few mods an added LEDS.  Here are pics of the finished model:

Now Im waiting on the parts to slowly arrive from DeAgostino and their 1:1 Falcon kit.

Welcome to the forum.  Be sure to check the Sci-Fi section.  Beautiful work on the Falcon.  I am impressed how well you got the anti-gravity devise to work. Good luck with DeAgostino, please post pictures of that build.

Welcome to the forums Joe!  Glad to have you aboard!

Great looking Falcon.  I think we've all seen the ads for the DeAgostino Falcon and will be very interested in seeing your build and how everything goes together. Keep the pics coming when you start.

Hi Joe, and welcome.

Nice Falcon and I agree with Roony, it's nice to see the anti grav working. Now if you could just post a vid of it flying around your back yard, that would be epic.

Building a kit from your stash is like cutting a head off a Hydra, two more take it's place.
