Welcome to the gang! Testors sells a wet look clear lacquer paint in the spray can. It should be ok with the enamels, but test it for compatibility first. One issue with Testors enamels is that the gloss takes forever to dry. They have a line of lacquer paints that is composed of a two step system of color, along with the clear that I mentioned. They dry quickly, and the color line up is pretty extensive. You could probably decant it for airbrushing, and cut it with lacquer thinner, though I haven't gone that route. You will still have issues with orange peel from time to time; it seems to be the name of the game. Quite a few places sell polishing pads that go from 3400-12000 grit to smooth things out, so even if you end up with orange peeling, it's not a total loss.
Looking forward to seeing your builds!
