Ok yeah title was sort of lame, sorry champs.

Well Im back to making yet another model, and of course at the best site for knowledge from the best people again.

Funny.. after my last build, the epic Tamiya P51D in 1/32, I swore Id never make another kit.. out of respect to my wife that never saw me for 5 days straight (though we were in the same house but Id sink into the builder den of models LOL) .. but 18 months later Ive got the green light to tackle the 1/24 scale Focke Wulf by Airfix. Not in Tamiya's league so we shall see. Will be frustrating Im picking.

Anyway, thanks for readin' & much love fellow manic builders Black Eye

Is that a song title?  Music-wise, I think I'm still stuck in the 1980's.

Welcome to the forums.

Steve

Building a kit from your stash is like cutting a head off a Hydra, two more take it's place.

Hi there, good luck on the FW-190 build

I completed that Airfix kit some months back, be aware that one of the issues the kit has is the engine needs to be shaved by about 5mm for the engine fan blades to fit inside the cowling correctly or it will stick out. I did it by sanding the fronts and backs of each engine subassembly pieces.

Scott.
