How do you ship completed models?

NO WAY I would ship my models. I have moved a couple of times and I have packed and transported my models myself. I don't care how well you pack them for shipment, some type of damage is bound to happen.

During my (short) move recently, I taped them down in a box so they wouldn’t move. All of my builds are on bases so I could do that. Otherwise, you will probably need to make special foam cutouts for each one. Either way, if possible you should pack and carry them yourself and don't rely on a moving company to move them, that is unless you feel like rebuilding them in Idaho.
By the way, there are at least 3 of us on the forum that live here in Idaho, where are you moving to?

Welcome to the forums,I would say drive them yourself if you can,otherwise it's a tough proposition.I have seen some good suggestions on packing here,good but complicated.I'm sure you will get some.
