Finally my first warship model has arrived: Tamiya 1/350 H.M.S. Prince of Wales. It's actually larger than anticipated and the painting instructions and scheme appears to be good. Airbrush also arrived so now I need to purchase the required paints and I can start it!!

Welcome Danny Welcome Sign

That's quite the dirama you have planned. Stay on the forums and post a few builds and before you know it, you be building it.

Steve

Building a kit from your stash is like cutting a head off a Hydra, two more take it's place.

Welcome, Sgt Danny -

Glad you made it through your career well, thanks for keeping your community safe. Now you move from the "Cop Shop" to the hobby shop, good for you and I hope you'll enjoy it thoroughly.

New to the forum and modeling

Hello everyone, just joined the forum. Am a recently retired police officer and decided to start a couple of hobbies, one of which will be modeling. I have modeled a bit in the past, mostly WWII vehicles, I am now delving into it more seriously. My interests will be in WWII aircrafts and warships. At first, I will be building some models with a goal of eventually getting into dioramas. I would love to, one day, build the final moments of the Repulse and/or Prince of Wales. Cheers

Danny
